English section can be a cake walk for someone who has good command over it. There are 50 questions from this section in SSC.

Let me discuss with you the syllabus we are going to cover and expected types of questions from each part:

• Grammar: In grammar we are going to learn following topics:

• Pronoun

• Adverb

                Expected question types: Common errors, Error detection, Omission of error.

• Vocabulary: In vocabulary question comes from use and meaning of word.

               Expected question types: Synonyms, Antonyms, Idioms, One word substitution, Spelling, Fill in the blanks (Single, Double, Multiple), Comprehension.

• Understanding skills: SSC also test candidate's understanding skills. How much you can grasp.

             Expected question types: Comprehension, Jumbled Sentences/Sentence arrangement/Ordering of Sentence, Closed Test.
